Technical Lead – Data Integration (Global Delivery)
Blutic is looking for a Technical Lead - Data Integration (Global Delivery) with 10+ yrs in software development with expertise in SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server. This role will laison between the client’s onshore team and Blutic’s offshore development team. This role ensures seamless collaboration, efficient communication, and high productivity across distributed teams.
This is a 100% long term remote opportunity. The candidate should be willing to work in PST/EST business hours and overlap on IST time zone
Core Skills Required:
8+ years in software development with expertise in SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server.
Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and reporting tools.
Familiarity with C#, .NET Core, API development, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onshore-Offshore Coordination & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact between the client’s onshore stakeholders and the offshore development team.
Role includes hands-on development responsibilities in the core technologies
Facilitate daily handshake meetings to ensure alignment on priorities, progress, and issue resolution.
Manage time zone overlaps (Pacific Time and India daytime) to optimize collaboration.
Ensure clear documentation and knowledge sharing using tools like Jira, Confluence, and client-approved platforms.
2. Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight
Guide the offshore team in developing, maintaining, and testing solutions using SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, and related technologies.
Review technical designs, code, and test plans to ensure adherence to client standards.
Troubleshoot and escalate technical roadblocks with client SMEs or Blutic leadership as needed.
Support migration efforts (e.g., legacy systems to cloud) and API development, if required.
3. Project & Transition Management
Assist the Blutic Service Delivery Manager in onboarding offshore resources during the 90–120-day transition.
Ensure smooth knowledge transfer from client SMEs to the offshore team.
Monitor ramp-up progress against the agreed plan (e.g., 3–6 resources/month).
4. Process & Productivity Improvement
Identify automation opportunities to enhance team productivity (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, testing automation).
Track and report on productivity metrics (e.g., velocity, defect rates).
Align with client goals to drive **5–10% annual productivity gains**.
5. Tools & Compliance
Ensure offshore team members are provisioned with client tools (VMware VDI, MFA, licenses).
Enforce compliance with client security policies and Agile/Kanban ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives).

Tools:
Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and collaboration tools.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication (written/verbal) to bridge onshore-offshore gaps.
Leadership experience managing teams of 15+ offshore resources.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivery and client satisfaction.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in technical roles, with 5+ years coordinating onshore-offshore teams.
Experience in financial, healthcare, or telecom domains preferred.
Work Environment
Remote, with occasional site visits as needed
Overlap Hours: Must accommodate 4–6 hours of overlap with India time zones or completely outside of Pacific time zone
Performance Metrics
Offshore team productivity (e.g., sprint deliverables, defect reduction).
Adherence to transition timelines and client SLAs.
Client feedback on collaboration and issue resolution.
