Role Overview

As a Power Platform & Copilot Studio Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our internal digital transformation. This role is dedicated to the onboarding, enablement, and daily adoption of Microsoft Power Platform technologies. You will act as a bridge between technical possibilities and business requirements, helping teams design and operationalize solutions—specifically within Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

This is a "builder-facilitator" role. You will spend your time both in the "weeds" of technical configuration and in consultation with internal stakeholders to ensure their solutions are scalable, secure, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Onboarding & Design: Support internal business units in the initial stages of use-case identification. Translate business pain points into functional Power Platform prototypes.

• Copilot Studio Implementation: Design, configure, and refine AI-driven conversational agents. This includes managing topics, entities, and integrating Copilot with backend data via Power Automate.

• App & Flow Development: Build and maintain canvas/model-driven apps and complex automated workflows that streamline manual business processes.

• Governance & Standards: Ensure all user-created solutions adhere to established Center of Excellence (CoE) guidelines, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and environment management.

• Customer Enablement: Conduct "App in a Day" style workshops or coaching sessions to empower citizen developers while maintaining oversight of platform health.

• Operational Support: Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and performance tuning for existing applications and bots to ensure high availability and user satisfaction.

• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for solution architectures, connector configurations, and security protocols.

Technical Expertise

• Power Platform: Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate (Cloud flows, Desktop flows/RPA is a plus).

• Copilot Studio: Hands-on experience building and deploying custom Copilots, including knowledge of Generative Answers and prompt engineering.

• Dataverse: Strong understanding of relational data modeling, security roles, and environment variables within Microsoft Dataverse.

• Connectors: Experience working with standard and custom connectors to integrate Power Platform with O365, SharePoint, SQL, or third-party APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications: PL-100 (App Maker), PL-200 (Functional Consultant), or PL-400 (Developer).

• Experience with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service or basic AI/ML concepts.

• Knowledge of PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) or basic JavaScript/C# for extending the platform.
