Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance & Accounting professional with strong expertise in SAP FICO processes, financial reporting, compliance, and accounting controls. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), financial reconciliations, tax assessments, and financial analytics across entity and consolidated levels.

The candidate will work closely with finance, accounting, tax, audit, and business stakeholders to support financial operations, reporting accuracy, compliance, and process optimization within SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support SAP Finance & Accounting modules and related business processes.

• Handle end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.

• Perform provision calculations and ensure proper financial controls and assessments.

• Support R&D credit calculation and assessment processes.

• Conduct withholding tax reconciliations and VAT rate assessments.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Analyze Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports at both entity and consolidated levels.

• Support financial statement disclosures and statutory reporting activities.

• Execute control assessment, compliance checks, and testing procedures.

• Collaborate with internal audit, finance, tax, and compliance teams.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation or optimization solutions within SAP.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.

Additional Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ERP assessments for existing SAP environments and evaluate current system capabilities, processes, and business requirements.

• Perform fit-gap analysis for SAP systems to identify process gaps, improvement opportunities, and alignment with business objectives.

• Provide recommendations for SAP process enhancements, system optimization, and best practices implementation.

• Prepare implementation roadmaps, project timelines, and transition strategies for SAP-related initiatives and improvements.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support ERP transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP Finance & Accounting modules (SAP FICO).

• Expertise in:

• Experience with:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Experience conducting ERP assessments and SAP fit-gap analysis.

• Ability to define SAP implementation strategies, roadmap planning, and project timelines.

• Strong understanding of SAP process optimization and transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

• CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.

• SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.

• Experience working in global finance environments or shared service models preferred.
